Partners Wayne Gordon and Mark Smith, along with associate Amie Fordan, recently obtained a summary judgment in Johnson County for a drilling contractor on an oil & gas lease. The case involved a landowner plaintiff alleging that the oil company and the drilling contractor damaged his land during drilling operations on the land. The motion was based on the statue of limitations defense.
