DALLAS (March 15, 2012) – Touchstone Bernays attorneys Christian P. Shippee, Heather Drake Bocell, Amie P. Fordan, C. Todd Hewes, Margaret “Meg” A. Johnson and Lauren Stevenson Borgan have been named 2012 Texas Rising Stars®.

Shippee focuses on professional liability defense, employment litigation, commercial litigation, premises liability, and personal injury defense.  He earned his law degree from University of Texas School of Law with honors in 2001.

Bocell focuses on personal injury, products liability, premises liability, insurance defense and general civil litigation. She earned her law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 2004.

Fordan’s practice focuses on civil litigation defense, personal injury defense, government relations, appellate, coverage opinions, products and premises liability. She received her law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 2002.

Hewes focuses on construction, insurance, professional malpractice, personal injury, premises liability, products liability and toxic mold. He received his law degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 2002.

Johnson’s practice focus on products liability, personal injury, premises liability, and equine related legal issues such as; the purchase and sale of elite competition horses, application of Texas Equine Activities Liability Act, quarantine issues, contract negotiations and protection of trademarks. She earned her law degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 2003.

Borgan focuses on appellate, coverage opinions and insurance.   She earned her law degree from the SMU Dedman School of Law in 2008.
