Touchstone partners James Bertsch and Bart Ridley attended the 2014 Defense Research Institute Retail and Hospitality Litigation and Claims Management Conference in Chicago, Illinois. Retailers and their counsel from across the nation participate in this annual conference addressing current topics and trends in retail and hospitality litigation. Touchstone attorneys actively represent retailers including Sears and Dillard’s in litigation throughout the State of Texas.
Partner Bart Ridley recently attended the 2014 Annual Meeting of the Professional Liability Defense Federation in Washington D.C. The mission of the PLDF, with members from across the nation, is to enhance the effectiveness of those defending claims of professional negligence through education and the exchange of information. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Ridley has represented licensed professionals in Texas facing claims of malpractice including attorneys, realtors, insurance agents and pharmacists.
